MY EXPERIENCE
2019
DATA SCIENCE INTERN - SEAMLESS.AI
Beginning August 2019, I will be interning with Seamless.AI until I graduate in December 2019.Â
Seamless.AI organizes the world’s contacts and makes them universally accessible and useful - they provide sales leads to companies through Artificial Intelligence technology.
As an intern, I will be working directly beneath their Data Science Lead and assistant Data Scientist. My main tasks will be QA regression testing and assistance with back-end development.
2018 - 2019
HEAD OF PUBLIC RELATIONS - WOMEN IN COMPUTER SCIENCE
I am a founding member of an organization that focuses on the under-representation of women in Computer Science (CS) at Florida State University.
As the Head of the Public Relations Committee, I focused on networking and bringing awareness to the organization by facilitating tabling events, developing the organization logo, and advertising on the club website. My team's efforts led to an increase of 50%+ in new members.
I also served as a mentor to 3 underclassmen per semester in the CS field, advising them across a range of topics including involvement, major and class selection, professional development, and adjustment to college.
2017 - Present
SERVER - CENTRALE ITALIAN RESTAURANT
As a server, within the first three months of working, I was selected by the General Manager to train and mentor new hires due to my serving efficiency and style. I have since trained twelve new staff members on restaurant software, customer service philosophy, and general company operations by leading jobshadowing activities. Through this, I was able to motivate my co-workers by demonstrating exceptional customer service, focus, and a positive attitude.
Centrale is located in the heart of the College Town area of Tallahassee, resulting in a relatively fast-paced and busy work environment during peak hours. In order to prioritize and organize, I have learned to identify bottlenecks during high volume times and assist with bartending, bar-backing, bussing, food-running, and serving to ensure efficiency.Â
I have been serving for over six years, and I have found that it has contributed greatly to my extremely dedicated work ethic and taught me to thrive in team based environments.
2014Â - 2017
ASSISTANT - THE SURF STATION
I began working at The Surf Station as a cashier in their women's clothing section of the store. I was still in high school and had little professional job experience. Within the first two months after being hired, I was promoted to work directly with the Bookkeeper and Proprietor of the store.Â
As an assistant to the Bookkeeper, I was in charge of the store's PayPal account and the roughly 100-150 clients and vendors the store exchanged purchases with. I reviewed our written records and made sure they matched the records online. In addition, I sorted and organized all invoices, whether sent by mail or digitally, based on the vendor and content of the invoice. I was also in charge of making sure our website was up to date on the correct prices, in-stock quantities, and uploaded any new items or pictures.Â
As an assistant to the Proprietor, I focused on organizing the portfolios of his ~30 properties in St. Augustine, FL. I sorted each property based on insurance, location, and tenants. By creating this new filing system, I was able to completely reorganize his home office.Â
From this job, I have learned many different organizational and filing skills; gained technical experience in PayPal systems, LightSpeed inventory software, and website design; and learned to take direction then teach myself similar skills to finish certain tasks.

This project was done for my Mobile Web Applications class in Fall 2018. This project required us to create a database in MySQL and connect it to our localhost website through Ampps. This first part of this project allowed users to enter data for any given pet store, providing the name and address. The first photo shows the page for entering data, and the second shows the table after data has been entered/added.

For this project, I was required to create a working mobile application through Android Studio. The purpose of this application was to create a mobile ticket purchasing interface that allowed users to pick a specific band, enter number of tickets desired, and calculate the total price of the tickets purchased. The application was developed using Java. This was an individual project.
